All the posts I've written lately haven't published.

My worlplace has always been a haven for lizards, but this year there have been incredible numbers of them. We did have one young #@* slam his foot on one when he was trying to impress a girl, and I let him know the little lizard wouldn't hurt him and killing it wasn't necessary. For the most part the lizards live in harmony there.
Also seen outside my workplace was a Praying Mantis. It was the largest Praying Mantis I have ever seen. It turned it's head and that look was just amazing. I seem to remember this bit of urban folklore as a kid. That it was illegal to kill a Praying Mantis, or mabe that was a grasshopper.
Last week a friend's friend bought both her and me groceries. That was really nice of him. Too bad it wasn't earlier in the week, because I really needed them.

Last week I watched the movie "Stranger Than Paradise", it is an old Jim Jarmusch movie from the 80's. I'm not sure if I would have enjoyed so much if I wasn't from Hungarian ancestry, and if my grandmother wasn't born in Budapest. There is one scene with the Hungarian-American aunt that made me laugh out loud, really loud.

For many years my workplace had been a haven for lizards. Lizards moved in and out from the small opening in the doors. This year seems to be the year of the lizard. At one time I could count 5 lizards in a room. Sunning themselves in the window, resting comfortably in our mail bin, blending with the cardboard boxes. I don't mind the lizards, alive and well and thriving. We did have some #$@ slam his foot on one this year while trying to impress a girl. I did imform the #$@ that lizards live here, and wouldn't hurt him, and he didn't need to do that again. Also one year a petrified lizard was found in our work shed. As a practical joke it was placed on my desk next to my cheese crackers. Not to be found by me until much later.
I also saw the biggest Praying Mantis that I ever saw outside my work last week. It's head turned and looked toward me. Ohhh.

More free stuff. I saw 3 free movies. "The Polar Express", it was good, but now that I see it was done in IMAX 3-D, I would like to see it that way too. I bought this book for my nephew when he was little and it still brings a tear to my eye.
