I just woke up from a nap . As I awoke ,I noticed that I was feeling my face to see if I got too much sun. It was a warm sunny and breezy day today. I gave both of my dogs, Big Loo and Little Winky baths. I didn't feel like bringing their wet bodies in the house so I walked them individually until they were blown dry.
More free stuff...Last night I went to see the author Isabel Allende. A friend was given a free ticket and gave it to me.
I don't like politics but election day is coming soon and I do usually vote.
I am happy to say I have never voted a straight ticket.

More free stuff...yesterday I went to a small town fall festival. Instead of chairs to sit on they had bales of hay. The entertainment consisted of an Elvis impersonator, ventriloquist and a kazoo band (for kids) . They also had rides, the kind my mom never let me go on as a kid. Even with my fear of heights I have always wanted to go on a ferris wheel. I might have tried one of the rides if I didn't have to pay in tickets instead of cash. I had a nice time there, and the atmosphere was relaxing .
I have been waiting a long time....Now it looks like there is really something to look forward to in November--Pixar's "The Incredibles".

About two weeks ago I sat here trying to figure out how I was going to eat. I could not wait until my Friday payday. Thursday night I looked thru pockets and change on the floor of the car so I could gather up 5o+ cents to buy one can of dog food. The doggies go through 3 cans of food a day. I had also run out of cat food, but was able to get by on some old tuna that I had in the house. When I got off work on Friday and had some money I stopped at an all you can eat salad bar on the way home. I ate like I hadn't eaten in a week. I then stopped and picked up a few essentials that I needed, including a case of dog food.
The next day I was going to the annual International Festival at the University. I had been looking forward to going since last year. I got some Lebanese food, Thai tea* which reminds me that I need to add tea to my favorite things list. I had a good time there, watching the dancers and especially enjoyed the men doing the Turkish dances, they looked alot like Russian dancers when they circled the room on their knees. I bought a wooden snake at the Peru exhibit and startled some childen when I dropped it on the outside bricks and blurted out "my snake". The snake lost one of it's eyes in the fall and I went back and got a replacement snake.
