Red
I just finished coloring the hair. It is usually pretty bright for the first few days to a week and then goes to a more natural color or less alien- like . Also I keep thinking that I smell cinnamon for about a week afterward. It must be the ginseng in the coloring.
I was a little down because I thought I only got a B in my class that I finished up last week. I finally found my school password tonite and I found out I actually got a A.
There is this show on TV where a couple go around to garage sales and find all this cool stuff, and some not so cool stuff. It's pretty fun to watch. It's like going to a flea market without getting dirty. Then they supposedly auction the stuff off online.
More free stuff-----saw a free movie last night and this next month there is going to be a lunch box exhibit at the gallery of the big library. I think I am going to love this. I used to get a zine called "Freakie Magnet." It was a magazine of vintage cereal boxes. Gotta luv that stuff.

I stopped by the folks place tonite on the way home from church. While I was there my nieces's husband arrived with his father. We were all outside and noticed alot of lightning bugs this evening. (I didn't catch any and put then in a jar) They reminded me of my childhood summers. What else reminds me of summer? Playing midnight, freeze tag and red light green light with my multitude of cousins. Jerry the ice cream man. The bug machine/truck that was probably spraying us with DDT. The bug spray looked like the smoke coming out of the Batmobile or Couragous Cat's car. Swimming at the Babylon pool. The pool itself was on the Great South Bay and was surrounded with sand. I hated being sprayed by the sprinklers on the way into the pool, it was always so cold. In later years I also noticed that the teachers at the public schools worked as lifeguards at the pool. Summer also included lots of made up scary stories that usually had someone being buried alive. What reminds you of summer?
For now, back to studying

July 4th.
Lots of firworks going off right here in the neighborhood, so not sure I really need to go anywhere to see more. Also might get a chance to see some fireworks at baseball game later this summer. At church tonite the song on the way out was "America The Beautiful".The lady next to me was singing proudly, and she said to me, that she was originally from Colombia(that is a country in South America, not a city in South Carolina),and this was her adopted country. She then said to me, "I love this country".
I've been quite overwhelmed lately. So many things going on, and most not good. So people try to be nice. Even if it kills you--which it just might.
