While driving around town today I saw two pre-teen boys waiting to cross a busy intersection. While they were waiting one of them made a 90 degree bent arm and clenched fist pulling down motion that I reconized as a sign for blow your whistle trucker, pleeeeaaaassssse. It was nice to see, that kids still do stuff like this. I remember when my nephew, who was born when I was still in high school, and was raised for the most part by my parents would do this too . On long trips, he would try to catch the eye of a trucker, pull, pull, he would then motion. Often the trucker would reciprocate. What joy!
Today I also saw girls in front of Hooters hula hooping in their Hooter's outfits.
Yesterday my big lumpy old dog had surgery. She survived.
